Also, if this is her first season you have at least another two events like this to live through before you can even consider breeding them. And to be frank, if they were from a reputable breeder (= from good stock), they would be endorsed in any case, which means you'd have to take them back to their breeder to have the endorsᴇмᴇɴts lifted (if they had matured into worthy examples of their breed).
Why are you considering breeding them at all? If you are not aware of how to keep them apart it doesn't sound as if you are into breeding the way you should be!! If she/they is too young yet, you won't yet know whether he is going to be the right male for her in terms of doubling up on faults (which will come out in the puppies big time). You could kennel him or get a friend to take him for the duration. Crate her - in the opposite end of the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And brace yourself for one unhappy male (you might have to consider crating him too, to be on the safe side), and probably an equally unhappy female too.
